The Ladies Guild provides fellowship and community to women in our parish through monthly meetings and activities, while also dedicating ourselves to the service of the Church.
Details
We lead a variety of activities including providing for wine, hosts, and candles at Mass, serving funeral lunches and dinners, serving a variety of receptions in the Church, and holding bake sales. Everyone in our group is kind, helpful, and contributes in their own way to help make St. Mary’s, and our overall community, a better place. Some contribute our time “live” at our events. Others cook and deliver foods as required. All of us contribute in the form of prayer. We often pray together and try to meet regularly. Not everyone can make our meetings, but we still welcome them to serve in any way they can.
We welcome anyone who wishes to join the Ladies Guild, so please consider stopping by any time! Contact the Parish Rectory for more information on how to get involved. We can’t wait to meet you and discover your strengths that will help us work together to support our Church!

School Supplies Drive
I hope everyone is aware of the Bellevue Together program in our community. Every year, this organization helps the students of families in need get ready for school. The last time I bought supplies for two grandkids, their lists cost me $72 for a 2nd and 5th grader! I’m sure those prices are even higher now.
The Guild Outreach collection from July 5th through August 2nd will be school supply items for Bellevue Together. We are hoping to help fill backpacks for kids so they feel confident to start the year. Bins will be available at all of the church entrances. Stores will be holding great sales now that we’re past the 4th of July. We hope that you will be able to provide a few of the following items:
- Loose-leaf paper - any size lines (the director told me they used 1,000 packages last year!)
- Crayons - 24-packs for regular size and 12-packs for larger crayons
- Colored pencils
- Glue sticks
- Bic pens - blue, black, or red
- Markers
- Dry erase markers
This organization will be honored as the Grand Marshals of this year’s Arrows to Aerospace Parade! We hope you can help us as you have done so generously with the diapers, socks, and baby bottles this past year.
With sincere appreciation,
Carolyn Conrath, Ladies Guild Outreach
