St. Mary's Memorial Garden, dedicated in 2014, is meant to be a place of peace, contemplation, and quiet prayer in remembrance of our lost loved ones.

Details

The Our Lady of Sorrows Memorial Prayer Garden winds through the southwest side of the St. Mary’s campus beginning on the north side of St. Mark’s and ending at the Our Lady of the Runway shrine. The Garden was designed with prayer as its centerpiece as reflected in the Seven Sorrows of Mary. At the entrance of the Garden, near the Memorial Wall, is our Prayer Garden Reflection Guide in the prayer card holders.

For details see our description in the Memorial Prayer Garden section of the website.

Names are engraved on the Memorial Wall at blessing ceremonies twice per year. We ask for a donation for any names requested to be added to the wall, which are then used to help maintain the garden.

You can walk the path of Mary’s Seven Sorrows and contemplate the tranquil beauty of God’s great earth. It is a spiritual time as we support God’s earth and help the plant life to flourish throughout the site. It would be wonderful having you join our committee and send up prayers with us as we maintain the garden. We are completely flexible on when and what you may do to help.
